  1. If one tries to KEEP the Sabbath after Christ has already fulfilled it (as with the Passover lamb), then by trying to keep the law you actually BREAK the law. Just like when Paul said if we are circumcised to fulfill the law of circumcision given to Abraham and Israel, to show our spirituality, we indeed "fall from grace." By works of law no flesh at all shall be justified Paul tells us. How can one REST FROM HIS 'SPIRITUAL" WORKS by keeping the Sabbath LAW? We are now to give God EVERYDAY and to worship Him is to walk in the fruits of the Spirit. (See Galatians 5)

    1. Hi Paul,
I for one am so thankful for the Sabbath. It is a day of quiet, peace, and study of the Word. Yes, I engage in these activities everyday but having a day of physical and spiritual refreshment causes me to say "Thank you" to the Lord of the Sabbath. There is no other of the 10 commandments that have come under such debate. If someone were to argue that we no longer need to put God above all else, or it's now okay to committ adultery, or it's okay to covet we would disagree. The Sabbath was instituted by God long before the Mosaic law and reaffirmed in the 10. The day was changed to Sunday by the catholic church after the pope had set himself up as God's new voice on earth. Maybe to you the Sabbath seems like a burden but to me it is a wonderful blessing and I am still able to appreciate the time of fellowship with those who join together for worship on Sunday. So I indeed get a double blessing.

    2. I go to el shaddia judeo Christian church on Saturdays now and I love the fact that my children are getting a deeper understanding of Hebrew and greek and how the old testament and new testament are inseparable and so deeply intertwined in this loveletter to man kind. I challenge everyone of my katecheo brothers n sisters to continue to have a heart for Israel and to learn from the chosen people because it makes our wedding clothes that much brighter. Our Dad pastor bob started all of us on this journey thanks for sharpening me even on this dark worldly new years eve festivity

  2. Praise the Lord, for Christ has truly set us 'FREE' ... now make sure that we stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law ... to God be the glory!
